HanLingo is designed to be local-first. To remember your progress and preferences, it primarily uses your browser's local storage rather than tracking cookies. Local storage stays on your device and is not sent to us unless you opt into an account or sync feature.

You can review and clear this data at any time from the Progress panel ("Export JSON" / "Clear local data") or via your browser's site-data settings.
When you make a purchase, our payment provider may place its own cookies or equivalent technologies needed to process the payment. Any analytics or advertising services we add in the future will be listed here, with their purpose and how to opt out.
You can control cookies and local storage through your browser settings (e.g. block third-party cookies, or clear site data for this domain). Note that clearing site data will remove your locally saved progress unless you export a backup first.
We may update this policy. The latest version will always be available at this address with a revised date.
