1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using HanLingo, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The service

HanLingo helps English-speaking professionals learn practical Mandarin through real sentences, with native audio, pinyin, and breakdown of each sentence into word bricks. The service may be used without an account; your progress is stored locally on your device.

3. Accounts

No account is required to start. If you choose to opt into an account (for cross-device sync or to manage a purchase), you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your access credentials secure.

4. Free access

The Beginner track is offered free forever and requires no card. Free access includes the first few sentences of selected packs, as indicated on the site.

5. Paid access

5.1 Options

Paid plans — a Pro subscription (monthly or annual, cancel anytime with no lock-in) or a Founding Lifetime one-time pass with no recurring fee, as shown at checkout. The Lifetime pass is a single payment; it has no renewals.

5.2 Refunds

Because HanLingo provides free access and free preview sentences before you pay, so you can try the product first, all purchases are non-refundable.
Paid access is a one-time purchase, unlocked permanently, and non-refundable, except as required by law.

5.3 Price changes

We may change prices for future purchases. Prices already paid at checkout are locked in and will not be adjusted retroactively.

All prices are shown in USD. If your card is issued outside the US, your bank may apply a foreign transaction fee. Singapore customers: Stripe may settle in SGD — the USD figure is the reference price.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) copy, scrape, redistribute, or resell HanLingo content or audio; (b) use the service for any unlawful purpose; (c) attempt to bypass access controls or security features; (d) misrepresent your identity in connection with an account.

7. Intellectual property

All content, sentences, audio, design, and trademarks in HanLingo are owned by Daren Business Printing Pte. Ltd. or its licensors. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the service; you do not acquire ownership of any content.

8. No results guarantee

HanLingo provides learning material only. We make no guarantee that any particular fluency, exam, or business outcome will be achieved. Your results depend on your own effort and use.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy of content, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We may update, suspend, or withdraw parts of the service.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Daren Business Printing Pte. Ltd. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a revised date; continuing to use the service after changes means you accept them.
